When I set out to build my business, I set out to create a business that would support a holistic way of living life. Life meaning family, relationships, community, work and health.
I wanted to support the industry I held so near and dear to my heart – construction and design that had been at the core of my entire career.
I felt called to support professionals struggling to authentically stand in their own version of success – and stop living by the standards of everyone else’s. I yearned to help leaders step out of their comfort zones, grow both personally and professionally and to find joy and fulfillment in every area of their life. I saw a need to help others understand the power of mindset and support leaders who were riddled with self-sabotaging and limiting beliefs; who suffered from burnout, frustration and feeling stuck in so many areas of their life.
I also felt called to support entrepreneurs, leadership teams and solopreneurs strategically create growth paths forward and build to great success. I desired to challenge our industry to look at things differently. I wanted to be a part of innovation, hard conversations, deep and meaningful progress, business strategy and elevating businesses to new levels through new ways. I saw a need to end the surface level conversations about problems that weren’t actually the problems in business and looked to champion the business owners that understood that everything starts at the core.
But I didn’t want to pick between helping businesses or helping people.
And I didn’t want to be just another coach, another consultant, another fish swimming in the same direction as everyone else.
So many people challenged that. “You can’t help everyone, Mel.”
Melanie Anne was not created to help everyone. It was built to create community, set new standards, challenge the status quo, raise the bar and impact professionals on both a personal and professional level.
It was created to look at life as a whole and to encourage professionals to elevate and strive for growth in every single area.
It was created to champion the underdog and challenge the overachiever.
It was created to teach and influence – to help others understand the psychology of business, people and their environment.
It was created to turn an industry on its head – to build businesses forward, support innovation and birth new ideas.
It was created to be a platform where professionals could show up authentically and stop subscribing to all of the noise we conform to as a society, holding us back and keeping us stuck.
